What love is:

I was born in Morocco (Al-Maghrib), the land of sunset, where the sun bows in golden reverence.

My story begins in the glowing alleys of Morocco where the scent of mint tea lingers in the air and love first spoke to me through the gentle hands of my grandmother (ummi).

Raised in America, I grew up between two worlds, one rooted in ancient traditions, the other in modern complexity, and through that contrast, I came to understand both the ache and the beauty of becoming.

Khadija’s Journey: What Love Is, is not just a book.

It’s a cinematic, soul- stirring experience.

From the sunset-washed streets of Morocco to the sacred stillness of India, each chapter is alive with rich detail and emotional depth. You won’t just read it, you’ll feel it. You’ll taste the food. You’ll hear the call to prayer.

You’ll dance with the dervishes and sit in silence as sacred mantras rise like incense in the air.

This journey is wrapped in sound and spirit, from childhood rock ‘n’ roll memories to the whirl of Sufi music and the divine vibration of Indian chants. Music moves through every memory of my being, guiding the reader into the rhythm of life that’s shaped by love, truth, and lived wisdom.

At its heart, this book is a love letter to self-discovery and to the divine energy we hold within.

I’ve walked and lived through the sacred traditions of Islam, Christianity, Sufism and Hinduism - not to seek outside of me, but to deepen the radiance already pulsing in my soul. Each path offers a different doorway to the Divine. It is the vessel through which love, healing, and transformation flows.

This is a healing journey, one of courage, clarity, and voice. It’s not just a story. This book reads like a film - vivid and raw - inviting you to witness a woman’s journey of transformation and vivid experiences.

Your New Beginning Awaits

This is an inward journey to your new beginning, a path to self-awareness, self-love, and inner healing.

I invite you to a healing journey to release what no longer serves you and remembering the truth:

You were created with pure Divine love and love is all around you.

When we turn inward and gently heal the child within, and do the deep work through prayer, meditation, yoga, and other healing modalities. We heal our past, present, future, and generations to come.

Nothing is lacking. Everything you seek, peace, clarity, abundance and love is already within you. And as we heal ourselves, we heal our planet and raise the collective.

Love heals all, and your new beginning starts now.

"Khadija's journey" is a poignant and uplifting tale that weaves the story of three generations of women, in the center of which is Khadija -- a daughter and granddaughter. Fascinating

I really enjoy how Khadija writes her life story in such a personal and vulnerable way. She has such a loving way of looking at life which makes her writing so endearing. In spite of all the extreme challenges she faces throughout her life, she manages to process those difficulties and awaken her heart. Thank you for your inspirational autobiography, Khadija.
